OK, so you’ve heard what Randy Moss thought of that catered food the Vikings had after practice. Today, the man who briefly threw passes Moss’ way shared his thoughts on the spread – and gave it a much kinder review.
Brett Favre met with media members earlier today, and in a development that one week ago would have been considered too absurd even for the Bret Favre saga, one of the topics discussed was the quality of the team’s post-practice spread the day Moss went off (and stunned his teammates in the process). Favre sounded like he was just fine with the offering:
“I thought the food was pretty good…I ate a little bit of everything; I’m not too picky, either.”
He added that he wouldn’t have done what Moss did – but really, would anyone else have? We’re more or less still flabbergasted that this entire scene actually happened, because come on…catered food (that by all other accounts was pretty good)? That, combined with his Sunday press conference, sure makes it seem like Moss was trying to get out of Minnesota…and if he wasn’t trying, he made one hell of an attempt to have it appear that way.
